Abby Andrew
When I first talked to Abby, it was when she booked with me a few months prior to their wedding date. I later learned at their engagement session that Abby and Andrew may not have had years of dating under their belt, but they were madly in love and were beyond ready to tie the knot.
After spending some time with them, I immediately recognized how fun and playful their relationship was. Their engagement session was lighthearted and full of laughter. In my mind, I knew their wedding day was going to be so beautiful. And it was.
If I had to describe this wedding in one word it would be classic. In fact, everything that I photographed from the details to the florals embodied it. I strive to achieve a timeless editing style so when I walked into the venue and saw the vibes, I was so in my element.
While this was a smaller, more intimate wedding, it did not lack of anything. In fact, it was so much more special to me because of it. There wasn't a large wedding party and the venue had limited seating, but the love and togetherness of those people was enough to fill the biggest of venues.
Abby allotted a ton of picture time in her timeline which I was so grateful for. We were able to sneak away to several different locations for their portraits. The day never felt rushed and there was extra time for dancing and mingling with guests.
A few memorable moments for me included Andrew's dance with his mom, the speech that Abby's dad gave before dinner, and the bride and groom on the dance floor. Also, I know a Swiftie when I see one, and I feel like I have to acknowledge Abby's song choices. An honorable mention to Getaway Car that was playing when she got ready, Paper Rings that played after the ceremony, and Never Grow Up as Abby danced with her dad. I'm sure there were more, but it brought the biggest smile to my face when I heard those three.
Abby and Andrew, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your wedding day. I will never get over how beautiful everything looked.
Forever starts now!
xoxo,
Taylor
