Emily + Logan
APRIL 22ND, 2023
This was such a gorgeous wedding for so many reasons, but as I pulled out of the parking lot of the Ashland Train Depot, all I could think about was how many special moments there really were.
When I first arrived, I immediately picked up on how close Emily was with her bridal party. I could just tell these girls had been through thick and thin together and it made photographing them so much sweeter. I feel like I should also mention their loyalty to each other considering one bridesmaid was a few days out from her due date and was determined to show up for her best friend.
Just before the ceremony, I witnessed such a sweet moment between Emily and her dad with the "first look". These always get me, but it wasn't nearly as emotional as witnessing the prayer that was said over Emily and Logan as her dad gave her away. As if this moment couldn't get any more perfect, you must know that the groom's father was the officiant. Incredibly special, right? There were SO many moments just like this.
Bride and groom portraits are always one of my favorite parts of any wedding day, and this couple did not disappoint. I barely even had to pose them because they were just happily in love in their own little world. Logan looked at Emily with complete adoration and she reciprocated that.
Emily and Logan's first dance blew me away. It wasn't your typical swaying. They were actually dancing with footwork, twirls, and dips. It was such a beautiful, intimate moment that brought tears to my eyes.
This gorgeous day ended with one final dance, just the two of them, as the sun set over the mountains.
Congratulations, Emily & Logan! May all your days be as beautiful and special as this one.
xoxo,
Taylor
