Lauren + Drew
I may never find the words to do this day justice, but I will do my very best. It was romantic and whimsical and everything girls dream about.
The day started with Lauren getting ready with all her closest friends. And let me tell you, these girls were so fun. I don't know that I've ever worked and laughed as much as I did at this wedding. All I'm saying is, you know the reception is going to be fun when the party starts at the beginning of the day. It's no surprise that Lauren has the coolest friend group considering who she is as a person. She's bubbly, fun, and all things joyful.
I have to brag on Drew and how sweet he was the entire day. Every time I seen him before the ceremony he asked me how Lauren was. He was worried about her being stressed and he wanted to make sure she was having a good time. I quote, "It's hard not to talk to her". He was down for all my picture ideas and told me he wanted whatever would make Lauren happy. Drew is the ultimate green flag!
Everything flowed seamlessly from first looks with dad to the emotional ceremony. I will never forget the look in Lauren's eyes as she watched Drew say his vows to her. It was one of those moments where you sit back and think "this is what life is all about".
As I knew it would be, the reception was such a vibe. Everyone was laughing, dancing, and having the best time. It made for some of the best pictures that I know Lauren and Drew will always cherish. We ended the day with an epic sparkler exit that included about 100 guests. I'm still trying to figure out how we successfully got all of those things lit.
All in all, it was the best day that left me feeling warm and fuzzy inside. It's weddings like Lauren and Drew's that make me wonder "how is this my job"? It just doesn't seem real that this is what I get to do. I'm so grateful.
